Organic Calendula Medicinal Oil

Praised for its medicinal and cosmetic qualities for centuries. Treating many skin conditions such as rashes, infections, hemorrhoids, athlete’s foot, varicose veins, and perennial tears after childbirth.

Helps with chilblains. When small blood vessels in your skin are exposed to sudden temperature changes, they may cause painful inflammation followed by itching, swelling and blistering of the skin. The most common areas for chilblains are nose, fingers and feet. If not treated, they may lead to skin infections. Gently apply the oil onto the affected area. Let the oil penetrate the skin, and reapply as needed until improved.

• Aids with broken capillaries. Capillaries connect veins and arteries. They are fragile and they tend to appear on the skin surface when they break. The causes for capillary breaks range from having delicate skin, being exposed to extreme temperatures, aging, excessive smoking, or alcohol ingestion. Gently apply the oil onto the affected area. Let the oil penetrate the skin, and reapply as needed until improved.

• Promotes wound healing - juvenile acne. New tissue is generated by increasing blood flow and oxygen to the affected area. Apply a small amount of the oil onto the affected area with a cotton swap. Let the oil penetrate the skin, and reapply as needed until improved.

• Treats scrapes and athlete’s foot. For scrapes, apply oil onto clean area and let it penetrate the skin. For athlete’s foot, apply the oil onto the affected area after a shower and do not cover it. Let the oil penetrate the skin. In both cases, reapply as needed until improved.

• High content of anti-oxidants (flavonoids). Flavonoids protect body cells from damage through the oxidation process.

• Combines well with Comfrey and/or St. John's Wort.
